Aroha Island Eco Centre is a 12ha sanctuary, along the banks of the Kerikeri River, a 12km drive north east of Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
A causeway links the island to the mainland, providing vehicle access.
It is a quiet and peaceful place with many New Zealand plants and birds, including the rare North Island Brown Kiwi.
They have great camping facilities too. Lovely for a day out, or a longer stay.
